Ingredients in LOSWEL Tablet act as: • Anti‐inflammatory (shotha‐hara) – inhibits inflammatory substances ‐ cytokines (TNFα, IL‐1β, and IL‐6), leukotriene biosynthesis, 5‐lipoxygenase, topoisomerase I, topo‐isomerase IIα, NF • Analgesic (vedana‐hara) – Lowers stimulation of pain nerve endings and blocks pain signals in spinal cord and brain • Muscle relaxant (mamsa‐peshi‐vikasaka) • Eliminates inflammatory edema (shopha‐hara)
Dosage: • Adults: 2 tabs 4‐6 hourly. Taper off on improvement. • Children (6‐9): 1⁄4‐ 1⁄2 of the adult dose, in crushed form. • To be taken just after meals.
